ABOUT
Kane was born in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and started his
cinematography career at an early age. He studied Direction of
Photography at the CECC (Barcelona), although he soon discovered his
vocation for film directing. Working as a director Kane preserves
innovation and aesthetic sense to the extreme. This expertise combined
with his story telling skills constitutes the strong points of his
imagery.
As an international director he has worked in numerous
countries, such as Spain, Mexico, India, Italy, France, Panama,
Argentina. He has received several international awards: Cannes Lions
2019 (Silver, Bronze), "Best Music Video“ at the Lower East Side Film
Festival (NYC), “Best Director” at the Austin Music Video Festival
(Austin) and “Mejor Director” (Best Director) at the Pantalla de Cristal
Festival (Mexico), “Best Director” at El Ojo de Iberoamérica 2019,
among others.
When it comes to creating, Kane is a perfectionist and quickly
understands everyone’s needs, whereas on set he is relaxed and
sociable. He always finds a way of getting the best from everybody, both
actors and crew, by motivating and involving the whole team in the
shootings.
